Zuma Originals (ZO), an Australian Designer Fashion House, was established in Fremantle in 1983. Its Owners remain at the helm today….
The House of Zuma from its inception provided Haute Couture service using beautiful fabrics, made-to-measure leather & suede, leather & lace Wedding Dresses & stunning one-pieces, during the 1987 Americas Cup Challenge in Fremantle. With a Team of International Fashion Designers (South African, Australian, English), ZO built its reputation for classic, elegant, edgy, high-quality, Collections, using beautiful linens/cottons, wools, Asian silks, European fabrics & locally screen-printed fabrics. Zuma’s clothing has travelled to all parts of the world, the look is indulgently international. The House of Zuma, an entrant in the 1995 Australian Fashion Awards was a Member of the Council of Textile & Fashion Industries of Australia. Zuma Originals retailed in Fremantle, the Hay Street Mall, and wholesaled from King Street, Perth, until the turn of the century, 2000.

Currently, because of the desire for more Independent Fashion Labels, ZO has relaunched its latest Retail Store in Perth, WA. Moreover, after a sustained period of joint-ventures by its Owners who have been working in other areas of the Fashion Industry in NZ, China & Australia, since 2000, the House of Zuma will be furthered strengthened by expertise & experience.
Today, Zuma’s Team of Designers are committed to an International Standard of Excellence in Designer Fashion Clothing incorporating a blend of ‘East meets West’ in detailing new Chinese elements for the Australasian & Global Markets.
The flagship Retail Shop in Perth, WA, located at 77 Rokeby Road, Subiaco 6008 is now launched together with an on-line presence (www.zumaoriginals.com.au). Following Zuma’s long tradition of spectacular Fashion Parades a ZO Fashion Collection Event will be held on the 1st of November at the prestigious Claremont Yacht Club. Clients, past & present, will be welcomed for a fun-filled, illuminating, Fashion Event, where they will be first-hand witnesses to the House of Zuma’s new Summer Collection for 2014.
